Terms
Terms of Service
These terms apply when your business signs up to Nazlo. They're written in plain English so you know exactly what you're getting. By starting a free trial or paying for Nazlo, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Nazlo is a trading name of Ben Garvey, a sole trader based in Loughborough, UK. You can contact us at ben@nazlo.co.uk. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Nazlo, and "you" means the business using the service.
Nazlo is sold to businesses only. It isn't intended for personal or household use.
2. What Nazlo does
Nazlo connects to a WhatsApp number and uses AI to reply to your customers' enquiries. It asks about the job, location, timeframe and urgency, then sends the details to you by email and logs them to your leads sheet. If a customer asks for a person or sounds frustrated, it tells them you'll be in touch and alerts you.
Nazlo relies on third-party services, including WhatsApp (Meta), Twilio and OpenAI. We'll do our best to keep it running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will be available all the time, and outages at those providers are outside our control.
3. The AI can make mistakes
Nazlo is designed not to give prices, quotes or technical advice. Like any AI, it can occasionally misunderstand a customer or record a detail wrongly, so please check important details with the customer before quoting or booking work. You're responsible for the jobs you take on, what you quote, and how you follow up.
4. Free trial
New customers get a 30-day free trial. We take card details when you sign up, but nothing is charged during the trial. If you cancel before it ends, you won't pay anything. If you don't cancel, your subscription starts automatically when the trial ends.
5. Price and payment
After the trial, Nazlo costs £79 a month, or the price you were offered when you signed up. Payment is taken monthly in advance by card through Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
If you signed up at a founding or discounted price, you keep that price for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel and later rejoin, the standard price at that time applies.
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it automatically and email you a link to update your card. If payment still can't be taken after the retries, your subscription will be cancelled and the service switched off.
We may change our prices. If we do, we'll email you at least 30 days before the change affects you, so you can cancel first if you want to.
6. Cancelling
There's no contract or minimum term. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal, or by emailing ben@nazlo.co.uk. Your service keeps running until the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
We can end your subscription by giving you 30 days' notice by email. We can end it straight away if payment can't be taken, or if the service is being used unlawfully, for spam, or in a way that breaks WhatsApp's rules.
7. Refunds
Because you can try Nazlo free for 30 days and cancel whenever you like, we don't refund payments for part months or unused time.
If Nazlo stops working for a significant period because of something on our side, get in touch and we'll put it right fairly, for example with a credit or a partial refund.
8. Your WhatsApp number
While a number is connected to Nazlo, it works through the AI only, so you won't be able to use the normal WhatsApp app on it. When your subscription ends, we'll disconnect the number from Nazlo within 7 days. If it's your own number, we'll help you get it back on your normal WhatsApp. If we provided the number, it belongs to us and will be released once it's disconnected.
9. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate details when you sign up, keep your contact email up to date so leads reach you, and follow up with the customers Nazlo passes to you. You must use Nazlo lawfully and in line with WhatsApp's Business Policy, and not use it to send spam or unsolicited marketing.
10. Your customers' data
Your customers' enquiries belong to you. Under UK data protection law, your business is the controller of that information and Nazlo processes it on your behalf. We will:
- only use it to run the service for you, and never for our own marketing or to sell;
- keep it secure and confidential;
- only share it with the service providers listed in our Privacy Notice, who help us run Nazlo;
- tell you without undue delay if we become aware of a data breach affecting it;
- help you respond if a customer asks to see or delete their information;
- delete the enquiry data we hold within 30 days of your subscription ending, once we've made sure you have a copy of your leads.
You're responsible for making sure you're allowed to collect and use your customers' information in this way, for example by mentioning in your own privacy information that you use an AI assistant to handle enquiries.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited.
Otherwise, we're not liable for loss of profit, lost jobs or business, or any indirect loss, including where an enquiry is missed, delayed or recorded wrongly. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change materially affects you, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
